Vibratory Feeders Bowls

Moorfeed’s Vibratory Feeder Bowl Systems

Vibratory feeders are the heart of what we do at Moorfeed. With a history and knowledge base that spans over half a century, if it can be fed, we have probably done it. Our basic bowls range in size from 2.5 inches in diameter up to 42 inches in diameter. Each vibratory feeder is specifically designed for the part being fed and is not a standard unit pulled from a shelf and modified. Fabricated using our industry proven set of standards from 304 or 316L stainless steel, our feeder bowls are made to last and move your parts to their destination smoothly and efficiently.

Centrifugal Feeders

About our Centrifugal Feeders

Centrifugal feeders, commonly referred to as rotary parts feeders, use a bowl that spins and forces parts to the outside of the bowl. Rotary feeders are best utilized in high rate applications, feeding simple parts requiring little or no part manipulation. The common style of rotary feeders is dual motion, in which a center disc and an outer tub spin at varying speeds, flat disc rotary feeders which are commonly used when no part orientation is required, and scallop feeders, which is a variation of a dual motion rotary feeder that seats parts into scallop pockets. Moorfeed’s patented centrifugal designs are unrivaled in the industry for their durability and longevity.

Custom Design Equipment

Whether your needs are for engineering support, build to print manufacturing, or reverse engineering of existing equipment, Moorfeed has the knowledge and capabilities to take care of you.

Sound & Safety Enclosures

Built with extruded aluminum frames and a choice of impact resistant panels, high visibility mesh screen, or polycarbonate panels, each enclosure is specifically designed for the unit it works with. Whether on a new or existing piece of equipment these enclosures will keep your employees safe.

Build to Print Manufacturing

If you have a machine design, but don’t have the capabilities to manufacture the machine yourself. Our experienced fabricators and technicians are here to help weld, machine, or assemble a design into reality.

Heavy Duty Tables

When you need a sturdy platform for your equipment, don’t settle for just any table and framework. Designed to work with our equipment or to your specifications, our mounting plates range from ¾ inches thick up to 3 inches thick and Blanchard ground on both sides, our tables can carry the load.

To support these hefty plates we use square structural tubing for our frameworks, with support stringers on the top and bottom. Standard adjustable heavy duty machine pads keep everything level and planted firmly on the ground.

Need X, Y, or Z adjustability, we can do that, need adjustability in all three axis’, we can do that too. With manual or motor driven adjustability, let us know what you need and we will put together a design that is not only sturdy, but functional as well.

Reverse Engineering

Sometimes what you need just isn’t made anymore, this is where we step in and help. We can reverse engineer your equipment into engineering designs or to manufacture a new piece of equipment.

Elevating Pre-Feeders

Elevating pre-feeders provide bulk part storage while maintaining OSHA approved load heights. Moorfeed’s standard elevators are built tough to withstand years of abuse and with the ability to be easily customized, we are sure to find an elevator to suit your needs. Available in painted mild steel, 304 stainless steel, and 316L stainless steel and with a wide array of belt designs and materials, these elevators will get your parts moving in the right direction.

Our Standard Elevators are available in a standard drag-thru style and also with a vibratory infeed, which utilizes a vibratory hopper to trickle parts onto the elevator belt. This allows large and heavy parts to meter on to the elevator belt rather than dragging the belt through the parts, leading to extended belt live and reduced part damage.

With standard discharge heights ranging from 6 feet up to 16 feet, the sky is the limit. We can also custom design an elevator for your specific application.

Tracking Systems

Tracking systems typically move pre-oriented and singulated parts in a linear direction, feeding the parts from a vibratory or centrifugal feeder into downstream equipment. Common tracking systems are vibratory inlines, conveyors, and air tracks. Moorfeed specifies the right tracking system for each individual application, with several options available, our experience and history allows us to advise the right choice for any situation.
